I’ll be highlighting a few of my own Raw recipes this month as well.
 Raw crackers are one truly delicious part of my healthy diet plan.  The flavor combinations, nutrition and varieties are endless.
 I mixed up this Sunflower Seed variety years ago and it is still a personal favorite, especially good with sweet jams, nut butters or just as a snack on it’s own.
Easy to mix up and inexpensive to make.

Homemade Peanut Butter from Canned-Time.com

Raw Sunflower Seed Crackers

Ingredients
  1. 1 cup Sunflower Seeds
  2. 1/2 cup Sesame Seeds
  3. 1 cup Almond Meal
  4. 1/2 cup Ground Flax Seed
  5. 1 cup Sprouted Quinoa
  6. 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  7. 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  8. 1/3 cup Nutritional Yeast
  9. 1/3 cup Tahini
  10. 2 Tbs. Hemp Oil
  11. 1/4 cup Olive Oil
Instructions
  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a food processor or just stir them up in a big bowl.
  2. Mix together the wet ingredients.
  3. Combine both in a large bowl and mix well until you have a soft batter that will stick together.
  4. Add water slowly if there is not enough moisture.
  5. Roll out the dough between wax paper sheets to about 1/3 inch and cut into slices or squares. Dehydrate on 115 for about 10 hours. Store in a sealed container.

    You have a “liked” button again! 🙂 LOVE this recipe and am going to make them ASAP. Something to nibble on with some hummus is about as far as I get to eating lunch these days now that I am up to my neck in studies again. You done good girl 😉

    I love superseedfilled crackers, even better homemade. I’d like to teach my little nephew how to make these…he’s currently addicted to pizza-flavored goldfish crackers (I’m still trying to get his parents to go vegan). Maybe if we cut these into yumful fish shapes he’d become addicted to them instead. 😉

      Absolutely a great idea to cut them up. Any shape would work maybe after they’ve dehydrated a few hours would be easier, but yes, a wonderful alternative to ‘goldfish’ (an old favorite of mine as well)

    I can’t wait to check out the shared recipe in a week! I love Emily’s recipes and her work is utterly beautiful! The raw sunflower seed crackers look so delicious, I wish I have a dehydrator around, would you recommend me one?

      Thanks Rika! I just have ‘el cheepo’ dehydrator, a Nesco that was less than $50. It works great but the shelf space isn’t adjustable so if you do a bunch of crackers and spread type drying, it’s better to go for the gold. Also, mine has the air go through the center column so you can’t do square sheets in mine. But it works for me 😉
