      Thanks Annie. It looks a little better when it warms some too. I kept it chilled for the pics but warmed it some for gobbling it up! It looks like a lot more butter here than it really was too, the strawberries whip up with the butter so it’s not REALLY that much fat. Thanks for stopping by :)

      Very dense. It’s more like fruit cake without the sugar. The dates were actually not really detectable, mostly the cocoa flavor and walnuts. I think the dates really hold everything else together which make it Very dense yes! Be sure to let us know how it works for you if you try it, especially if you bake it instead of using a bread maker. :)

        I don’t own a bread maker so baking is my only option, however, in summer, we bake in the covered bbq so this could be interesting! ;)
